The most successful hospitality projects are those that become part of their surroundings rather than simply occupying them. For Orizon Blue Hotel, the starting point of the design was not the building itself, but the landscape of Himarë—the endless horizon of the Ionian Sea, the Mediterranean light, and the natural beauty that defines the Albanian Riviera.

Set against the dramatic landscape of Dhërmi and overlooking the crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea, Black Diamond represents a vision for contemporary hospitality architecture that is deeply connected to its environment. Developed through a collaboration between our studio and the internationally renowned Danish architecture firm CEBRA, the project explores how modern design can coexist with the unique character of the Albanian Riviera.

The design process focused on respecting the landscape, enhancing the natural character of the site, and creating spaces that encourage relaxation, recreation, and community interaction.
