Urban Residence

This residential interior explores the balance between raw architectural expression and carefully curated color, creating a contemporary living space with a strong and distinctive identity. Exposed concrete surfaces define the architectural envelope, giving the interior an honest, industrial character, while warmer materials, textiles and bold accents soften the overall atmosphere.

The living area is organized around a sculptural mustard sofa, which becomes the main visual anchor within the otherwise restrained palette of concrete grey, deep blue and black. A custom floor-to-ceiling shelving system introduces both storage and display, transforming books, art objects, lighting and personal pieces into an integral part of the interior composition.

Reflective metallic furniture, smoked glass and carefully selected decorative elements create a dialogue between raw and refined finishes. The geometric console and turntable corner add a more expressive character to the space, while contemporary artwork introduces a playful element that contrasts with the minimal architectural backdrop.

Large floor-to-ceiling glazing allows natural light to become an essential part of the design, emphasizing the texture of the concrete surfaces and opening the interior toward the surrounding cityscape. Integrated lighting and minimal track fixtures preserve the clean ceiling composition while subtly highlighting specific objects and surfaces.

The result is a bold yet balanced contemporary residence, where industrial architecture, art, color and bespoke furniture come together to create a sophisticated interior with a strong sense of personality.
