Renovation
The exterior is defined by a contemporary Mediterranean language, combining textured mineral plaster, warm wood finishes, terracotta roof tiles and metal surfaces in deep bronze and rust tones. The original volume is softened through curved architectural elements and rounded corners, creating a more welcoming and fluid appearance. A new entrance structure, conceived as a strong sculptural frame, establishes a clear visual identity from the street and creates a distinctive transition between the public space and the restaurant garden.
The landscape and outdoor dining areas were designed as an extension of the architecture. Greenery, pedestrian paths, subtle architectural lighting and a pergola-covered terrace create a relaxed and intimate atmosphere for guests. The connection between the interior and exterior spaces is reinforced through large glazed openings, allowing natural light, views and activity to flow continuously throughout the restaurant.
Inside, the design continues the warm and sophisticated material palette. Arched niches, softly textured walls, patterned stone flooring and custom-designed furniture introduce a contemporary interpretation of Mediterranean interiors. Deep burgundy tones, natural wood, neutral upholstery and decorative stone surfaces add richness and character without overwhelming the space. Carefully integrated lighting highlights the architectural forms and materials, creating a calm and inviting atmosphere throughout the day and a more intimate ambience in the evening.
Distinctive materials are used to define specific areas and enhance the identity of the restaurant. Burgundy marble with expressive natural veining creates a dramatic feature within the circulation and service spaces, while ribbed glass, rounded openings and discreet metal details add depth and refinement. These elements establish a visual continuity between the architecture, interior design and brand identity.
The final result is a sensitive transformation that gives the existing building a completely new purpose and character. By combining retained architectural elements with contemporary forms, warm materials and carefully designed social spaces, the project creates a restaurant that feels both modern and rooted in its Mediterranean setting—an environment designed around comfort, atmosphere and the experience of gathering.
